Chainless 89mm Vertical Blind Bottom Weights

Replace damaged or missing vertical-blind weights without fitting a bottom stabilising chain.

These chainless bottom weights slide into the pockets at the bottom of standard 89mm vertical-blind slats. Their weighted design helps the slats hang neatly without chain links running between them.

They are particularly useful in busy homes where conventional bottom chains are frequently caught, pulled or broken.

Choose your quantity

Count the number of slats requiring weights and select the appropriate pack size.

We recommend ordering one or two additional weights as spares.

How to fit

1. Remove the existing bottom chain, if fitted.

2. Carefully slide the old weights out of the pockets at the bottom of each slat.

3. Insert one chainless weight into each slat pocket.

4. Make sure every weight is sitting fully inside the pocket.

5. Allow the slats to hang naturally and check that they turn freely.

No bottom chain is required with these weights.

Check compatibility

These weights are designed for compatible 89mm (3.5-inch) vertical-blind slats.

Before ordering:

• Measure the width of one existing fabric slat.

• Check that it is approximately 89mm wide.

• Compare the shape and dimensions of your existing weight with our photographs.

• Check that the pocket at the bottom of the slat can accommodate the weight.

Vertical-blind components can vary between manufacturers. Please contact us before ordering if you are uncertain about compatibility.

• Not suitable for 127mm (5-inch) slats

• One weight is required for each slat

• These weights replace both conventional bottom weights and the stabilising bottom chain

• This product does not replace the safety device required for the blind’s operating cord or control chain
